Welcome to the hybrid section of BA256. Our first class meeting of the quarter will be Tuesday, June 23, at 12:45pm. This meeting will be in the Technology Complex, room T212. During this meeting, we will get each of you registered into the PageOut site, go over the syllabus and course expectations, meeting dates, etc.............basically everything you will need to know to set yourself up for success in this class. See you then!!

I will post assignments for each of the chapters. Please check back regularly to keep up on these. We will discuss these in class on Tuesdays. These assignments will be turned in when you take the test over the corresponding chapters.

You will need to complete the following exercises from your textbook:
Ch. 1 -- 1-8,11-14,17,18
Ch. 2 -- 3-12,15,17-19 ,21-23, 27, 28, 35
You will also need to complete the following questions from the study guide assignment portion in each chapter session:
Ch. 1 -- 1-25
Ch. 2 -- 1-12
All bar, line, and pie graphs need to be accomplished in Excel. Histograms, frequency polygons, and cumulative frequency polygons may be hand drawn.

Course Description
This introductory course applies descriptive and inferential statistical methods and probability theory to common business and economic situations. The development of analytical problem-solving skills is also emphasized.
